Extension’s Turf, Pest and Ag Expo Set Nov.16
SAN ANGELO – Turf management and agricultural pest control will highlight the second annual Turf, Pest and Ag Expo. The event will be held Nov. 16 at the Tom Green 4-H facility located at 3168 U.S. Highway 67 North near San Angelo.John Begnaud, Texas Cooperative Extension horticulturist for Tom Green County, said the exposition is designed to provide the most current information on landscape and turf management and agricultural pest control.
Five continuing education units will be provided for both Structural Pest Control and Texas Department of Agriculture license holders.
The day’s topics will include: updates on turfgrass, landscape irrigation requirements, rangeland and right of way vegetation management.
An outdoor power equipment maintenance service school will run concurrently with the day’s other presentations.
